P0721 and P0700 03 Duramax. I bought a 2003 LB7 with a junk transfer case. The rear main bearing in the transfer case was shot which allowed the main shaft to move around thus wiping out the speed sensor and reluctor on the shaft. Truck was showing a lot of codes related to speed sensor being wiped out and the speedometer bounced terrible.

Had this just happen to me. Cold started the truck after work sitting for about 8 hours at 10f it remote started and ran normally. Got in and had cel p0700. Did a little googling saw a post in google about the idash at high wake level setting as a cause. Set my idash to medium and p0700 cleared itself after restart.

The P0700 code is a "TCM requested MIL" (malfunction indicator light, or SES). All it means is that the TCM has requested that the SES light be illuminated to indicate that a code has been set in the TCM. Feb 21, 2008 · allison P0700, P0708 code's, need some help. I have on 04 4wd DMAX with 83000 miles on it. I was jumping my jeep off when this started. When the shifter in Park and the transmission in park, the computer thinks the truck is in gear. It tells you the door is ajar and the daytime running lights are on while in park.

The P0700 is a code the TCM sends to the ECM to tell it there is a code in the TCM.
